10 DAYS SAFARI MKOMAZI + USAMBARA MOUNTAINS + SAADANI WITH BEACH RELAXATION

10 DAYS SAFARI MKOMAZI + USAMBARA MOUNTAINS + SAADANI WITH BEACH RELAXATION.

This is the best way to go on vacation in Tanzania’s eastern parks. After the tour, you can take it easy on the beach.

You can find Mkomazi National Park on the southern tip of the Sahel. It is a truly beautiful desert. It is where groups of elephants, oryx, and zebras live. Tanzania’s Usambara Mountains are one of the places that not many people have been. This is what really makes this place a paradise for people who love nature and hiking.

And the fact that Saadani National Park is on the coast makes it stand out. This is the only national park where you can go on an exciting trek and then relax on one of the many beautiful white beaches with lots of palm trees.

You are free to move at your own pace on this private safari, just the way you like it. You will have your own safari car and driver. The hotels we picked out for you on this trip are Silver class.

When is the best time to visit Tanzania?

A lot of tourists ask us when the best time is to go to Tanzania. There isn’t just one right answer. It depends on what you like, where you want to go, how much money you have, and what you want to see. This page tells you everything you need to know about the best times to visit Tanzania.

Dry Season (June to October and December to February): The nice weather and great chances to see wildlife make these months perfect for safaris and trips to the beach. You can expect hotel prices to go up and parks and sites to be busier, though.

Midseason, which lasts from March to November, is a good time to visit because hotel prices are average and there aren’t as many tourists. Even though the weather can change and some sites may not be open because of rain, you can still see a lot of wildlife and have a more relaxed safari experience.

The wet season, which lasts from April to May, is great for tourists on a budget because it’s when hotel prices are lowest and parks are least crowded. The heavy rains make the scenery bright and lush, but the weather can change your trip plans.

Day by day breakdown

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Your Tanzania Specialist guide meets you with a big smile as you leave Kilimanjaro International Airport: “Karibu Tanzania! Welcome to Tanzania!” The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy the African vibe. The following day, your guide takes you on a private tour where you can go at your own speed. You can stop and watch the animals for as long as you want in the comfort of your own adventure jeep.

Day 2: Mkomazi National Park + Mkomazi – Mbula Rhino Sanctuary

The Mkomazi National Park covers 3200 square kilometers and is in the northern part of Tanzania, close to Moshi and the Kenyan border. It, along with Kenya’s Tsavo National Park, is a stopover for elephant, oryx, and zebra groups that are traveling during the rainy season. People should not miss the Mbula Rhino Sanctuary, where rhinos may come up to your car. Animals like giraffes, antelopes, buffalo, lions, leopards, and many more are often seen on daily game drives.

Day 3: Western Usambara Mountains

The cool weather makes the Usambara Mountains a great place to go hiking. They are a beautiful green mountain range south of Mkomazi National Park. You can walk along waterfalls, farmland, plantations, picture-perfect towns, and colorful markets. Almost everywhere you go, you’ll see the most beautiful views. You will see many kinds of flowers, butterflies, chameleons, and fruit trees on the hike with a guide. You can also enjoy the view of the plains that run out beyond the mountains. You stay at Mambo View Point, which is one of the top hotels in the area.

Day 4 – 5: Usambara Mountains – Magoroto Forest Estate

The Magoroto Forest Estate is in the Eastern Usambara Mountains, 850 meters above sea level. The campground is known for being beautiful and being close to a freshwater lake that is surrounded by thick tropical jungles. It takes you one day to walk along one of Magoroto’s trails to get to the waterfalls. You can have fun the next day by going on boat rides, swimming, fishing, bird watching, hiking, horseback riding, or mountain biking.

Day 6 – 8: Saadani National Park

A small national park called Saadani is located on the coast between Dar es Salaam and Tanga. The only national park on the coast of East Africa. The only place you can go on safari during the day and then rest on a tropical beach at night. During the tour, you might see waterbucks, gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, and if you’re lucky, elephants, lions, and leopards! You can go by car, on foot, or by boat.

Day 9 – 10: Flight home from Dar es Salaam (DAR)

Today is the last day! Take a last look at your vacation before our driver picks you up and takes you to Dar Es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport for your trip home. Having second thoughts? You could also extend your vacation to one of the beautiful islands, like Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!
