Asanja Moru

Asanja Moru

In the eastern part of Serengeti National Park, there is a fancy camp called Asanja Moru. It is set up between some rocky rocks called Moru Kopjes. Eight tents with private bathrooms are available at the camp, including a large tent perfect for a family. Each tent is designed in a slightly different way, using a mix of dark and light woods and natural fabrics.

Each tent has comfortable furniture and a terrace with a view. In the Moru Kopjes area, the herds of migrating animals pass through on their way south. Gong Rock is close; it’s a flat rock with a metallic sound that you can hit like a drum. To the east, there’s Lake Magadi, which is salty and home to flamingos. A beautiful spot to spend the night!
