Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, You can barely see the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge because it is tucked into the crater’s rough edge, high above the fields and covered in river stone and native vines. From there, you can see the most beautiful views of the ancient Ngorongoro crater. The 75 rustic rooms are arranged in a circle around the edge of the crater.

They have a rich, almost old-fashioned style, with balconies surrounded by rocks right on the edge of the crater, private bathrooms, and good beds. All of the rooms are brown and ecru in color. The dining room is both fancy and casual, with a warm fireplace, walls covered in paintings from ancient times, and, of course, the same beautiful views while you eat hearty food.
