Fun Beach Resort. Jambiani is our favorite place on the east side of Zanzibar, and Fun Beach is a high-end beach resort there. There are two suites with private plunge pools and 40 bungalows facing two swimming pools at the resort. These rooms are great for groups or families. Each room is tastefully designed and has a good bed, a built-in sofa with lots of pillows, and a large bathroom right next to it.

On the private patios, you can read a book or watch a movie while lying down in your hammock or on the big sofa. There is more room to relax in the big lounge and restaurant area. Those who want to do something active can use the on-site kite school or go on an adventure in the nearby villages of Jambiani and Paje. Here, you can always find a place to eat, look around in the small shops and beach bars, or talk to locals who are always happy to see new people. To put it simply, a wonderful spot!
