Beautiful gardens and woods surround the Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge in Arusha, making it a very private place to stay. You can see and hear many kinds of tropical birds singing in the huge park, where Colobus monkeys jump from tree to tree. This place is so peaceful that it makes you feel like you’ve arrived in heaven.

The rooms are styled in the Zanzibar way and have soft, fluffy beds and a lovely bathroom with a tub and a shower. Many rooms have a large terrace with views of the yard or even Mount Kilimanjaro. They also have a small sitting area. Other rooms are in the main house, which is very nicely built. The cooks work together to make the food, and they will always do their best to serve a gourmet meal, often with ingredients from the kitchen garden. There are many things to do at and around the lodge to pass the time. You can go for a walk on the grounds, go canoeing, swim in the pool, or go with a guide to a nearby town. A great place to start (or end) your trip!
