Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam

Day 2: Flight to Kigoma

Today, you’ll take a plane from Dar Es Salaam to Kigoma, which is in the west of the country. A driver will be ready to take you to your hotel when you get there. You have the rest of the day to do whatever you want, like go on a city tour, see a nearby village or historical town, or take a boat ride on Lake Tanganyika. It’s all about the chimps the next day!

Day 3 – 4: Gombe Stream National Park

Day 7: Return from Mahale to Kigoma
