Fanjove Private Island

Fanjove Private Island

Fanjove Private Island. This island is one of five that make up the Songo Songo Archipelago, which is south of Mafia Island. The warm seas of the Indian Ocean support the world’s many plants and animals, both in the water and on land. There are lots of turtles here because of the coral reefs. From April to July, the turtles lay their eggs on the island.

And sometimes groups of dolphins come to the island. A lot of different bird types use the island as a stopover on their way to or from other places. Butterfly season is in January, and the island turns into a colorful paradise! You can also see humpback whales here from May to September as they make their way through the Indian Ocean. Don’t worry—both the scenery and the animals will be beautiful to look at.

This is how you stay!

The all-inclusive island has a lot to offer! From having a lunch on the sand to watching the sunset with a glass of wine from a dhow boat, kayaking, and tours of the mangroves. You will stay at the ecobungalows on Fanjove Island, which are six bandas made from natural materials and powered by solar energy. The eco-suits are made to use room, energy, and scenery in the best way possible.

With a bathroom that is open to the room below and a seating place on the second floor, you can enjoy the beauty of this island in the most private way. This is the ideal spot for a romantic getaway or a group of travelers who want to stay somewhere private and unique on one of Tanzania’s islands.
