TANZANIA NATIONAL PARKS, Check out Tanzania’s most beautiful national parks! The Serengeti and Ngorongoro are two of the more well-known parks. Selous and Katavi are two of the less well-known parks. Serengeti National Park

The movement of millions of wildebeest makes Serengeti National Park the most famous park in Africa. It is also the park with the most animals on the continent.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is in the north, and the Great Rift Valley is in the east. This is where the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is. The reserve area is bigger than 8,000 km², which is about 3,200 sq. miles.

Tarangire National Park

Beautiful Baobab trees are what Tarangire National Park is known for. They can get very big and have a very strange shape. The Park is also well-known for having the world’s biggest group of elephants.

Lake Natron

Lake Natron is a salt or soda lake in northern Tanzania, not far from Lake Manyara. It is in the Gregory Rift, which is part of the East African Rift and runs east to west.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro is the world’s largest freestanding mountain and the tallest mountain in Africa. A lot of climbers and explorers come from all over the world every year.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a beautiful place to go on safari. It is known for its beautiful scenery and huge soda lake that covers almost 75% of its area.

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is a small, beautiful park in the northeast of Tanzania. Arusha is close by, and there are great views of Mount Kilimanjaro from there.

Ruaha National Park

When you go on vacation to Tanzania, Ruaha National Park is the second biggest national park after Selous. It is in the middle of the country.

Selous Game Reserve

One of the biggest parks in the world is the Selous Game Reserve. It’s in the southern part of Tanzania. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982.

Mountains of Usambara

From the grassy plains to the lush tropical jungle, Usambara is a beautiful mountain range. You can see a lot of different towns in this area while you’re here.

Tanga

One of the biggest towns in Tanzania is Tanga, which is in the north. It is the regional capital. It’s not as busy as Arusha or Moshi, but it has about the same number of people.

Makuyuni Wildlife Park

Makuyuni Wildlife Park isn’t as well known as some of the bigger national parks, but it’s worth a visit because it has a lot of wildlife and is very far away from everything else.

Saadani National Park

People don’t always pay attention to Saadani National Park. This national park is unique because it is on the coast and is the only one where you can mix an exciting safari with a relaxing stay.

Pangani

People who move often miss Pangani, which is a great find! You have to work hard to get to Pangani’s quiet beaches on the mainland, but they are worth it for people who want peace and quiet.

Mkomazi National Park

In northern Tanzania, Mkomazi National Park is a beautiful national park. It was formed in 1951 and was at first hard to get to because it was far away. It never got the money it needed like the other parks did.
